Frequently Asked Questions
Find clear answers regarding premium audit requirements, policyholder responsibilities, portal access, and carrier integrations.
For Policyholders
Find quick, clear answers regarding your insurance premium audit process, required documentation, and auditor contact details.
What is the Premium Audit for?
Your policy premium was based on an estimate of your exposures. Therefore, an annual audit is needed to determine the actual exposures.
Why do I need to complete the audit?
One of the provisions of your policy is to allow an examination and audit of all records that relate to your policy. Failing to complete the audit violates the terms of your policy and may lead to an estimated audit.
If I no longer have insurance coverage with the carrier, do I still need to complete the audit?
Yes. The carrier still has the right to audit records covering the time period when the policy was in force.
Where can I find my Control Number?
The Control Number can be found at the bottom of the letter under the barcode, as well as in the body of the letter along with a password.
How do I contact my auditor?
The contact information for your auditor will be displayed in the top-right corner of your letter. However, if you are completing the audit using our online form, the contact information will be at the bottom of the letter.
