Fred Pape founded ECAP in 1999 following a 20-year career with a major insurance carrier, where he held positions ranging from Premium Auditor to Director of Premium Audit at the company's home office. His extensive carrier-side experience provided the foundation for establishing his own premium audit firm. Fred is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds the APA designation

Chris Pape has been with ECAP for more than 23 years and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.A. in Communication Studies. As Vice President of IT, he oversees ECAP's technology infrastructure and implementation of software and systems supporting the company's audit operations. He also manages ECAP's virtual/hybrid, telephone, and mail audit operations and serves as the company's primary contact for the Nexus platform.
